The Caucus, co-chaired by Representative Michael Caldwell (R -Woodstock) and Representative Dar’shun Kendrick (D – Lithonia), aims to pass future-focused legislation on the issues affecting young Georgians – and do so across party lines.
The Caucus held two days of events to commemorate the launch. Young elected officials and young professionals from across the Atlanta-metro area joined together for a happy hour event Tuesday evening, providing a forum for the Representatives to discuss the issues most important to millennials in Georgia. The following morning, under-40 members of the Georgia House of Representatives joined MAP for a breakfast, prior to the press conference.
