DORSET — State Rep. Mike Rice is one of five Vermont lawmakers who have been invited to attend the Millennial Action Project’s Future Summit in Indianapolis, a conference for the country’s most promising, effective young lawmakers.
Rice, a Democrat representing Danby, Dorset, Landgrove, Mount Tabor and Peru in the Bennington-Rutland District, is one of five Vermont lawmakers invited to the conference, which starts Wednesday. He will be joined in Indiana’s state capital by Republican state Rep. Casey Toof and Democratic state Reps. Esme Cole, Philip Hooper and Mary-Katherine Stone.
According to an announcement from the Millennial Action Project, lawmakers were selected for their ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the aisle and achieve legislative results through bipartisan leadership.
