Sylvia Cassidy

Policy Intern

Sylvia Cassidy is the Policy Intern for Future Caucus and is supporting the Policy Innovation Lab this fall. She currently attends George Washington University, where she will graduate in December with a double major in Political Science and Religion and a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Sylvia is passionate about exploring the intersections of these fields and driving positive social change.

Sylvia has previously interned in the Office of Congressman Morgan McGarvey (KY-03), at the House Veterans’ Affair Committee, and at the U.S. Department of Education. She is a proud native of Louisville, Kentucky and you can often find Sylvia, cold-brew in hand, bragging about all the riches the Bluegrass state has to offer.
