Murphy Walsh

Operations & Event manager

Murphy is an Operations & Events Manager at the Future Caucus. In this position, she manages a state and federal policy portfolio to help Future Caucus’ member legislators and Future Caucuses drive collaborative, post-partisan action on the most pressing issues of the younger generations.

Murphy earned her BA in Political, Legal, and Economic Analysis and a Minor in French and Francophone Studies from Mills College; a Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego; and her MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics. Her main areas of study were causes of economic inequality and their generational implications.

Prior to joining Future Caucus, Murphy worked as a Deputy Field Director on the campaign to elect Congresswoman Sara Jacobs, and most recently as a Legislative Intern for the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. She is excited to join Future Caucus and eager to leverage the voices and experiences of young people across the political spectrum to pass critical legislation and secure a today and tomorrow that works for everyone.

Murphy was born and raised in San Diego, CA, and in her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time around vast expanses of water.
