Lauren Touey
Coordinator, Policy Innovation Lab

Lauren Touey is the Policy Innovation Lab Coordinator for Future Caucus, the largest nonpartisan organization of young lawmakers in the United States. Future Caucus works with over 2,000+ Gen Z and millennial elected leaders in Congress and state legislatures to bridge divides, collaborate on future-oriented policy, and scale a healthy culture of democracy. In her role, Lauren helps facilitate policy programming and operations for Future Caucus’ Innovation Lab, connecting young lawmakers with resources and expertise to help them craft evidence-based bipartisan policy.
Lauren has previously supported the work of think tanks in D.C. through internships with the Center on Opportunity and Economic Mobility at American Enterprise Institute and Human Resources at Urban Institute. She also contributed to regional data and policy research in her home area of Northeastern Pennsylvania through her time with the Institute for Public Policy and Economic Development, helping analyze issues affecting local communities and economic development.
Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The Catholic University of America where she served as a Graduate Fellow for the University Honors Program.
