Jeff has founded and worked with social enterprises at the intersection of food systems, sustainable and community development and climate change, both in the US and South Africa. This work shapes his fundamental belief that business and policy can and should be a vehicle for addressing systemic and deeply rooted social and environmental issues. Currently, his work focuses on integrating social innovation into public policy decision-making and building a more resilient social enterprise industry by developing innovative financing structures to launch and scale solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.  His work has been recognized by Forbes, Halcyon Incubator,  New Leaders Council, Startingbloc and the Middlebury Institute.

Growing up in Washington, DC and attending Public Schools, and traveling and working abroad has allowed Jeff to immerse himself in cultures, communities and academic settings with people from all walks of life. He’s eager to continue to harness the knowledge, experience, skills, and energy of young people to address systemic issues plaguing their communities and future generations.
