When she’s not facilitating public-private-partnerships for Amazon Web Services, Frances enjoys a dynamic, altruistic lifestyle in Washington DC supporting social entrepreneurs and bureaucracy ninjas who are modernizing the U.S. government.
Before bringing her talents to AWS, Frances worked at the highest levels of public service, including the White House National Security Council and played key roles diplomatically building large-scale, multi-national, mega-events for the U.S. Government such as the Global Entrepreneurship Summits and U.S. Pavilions at World Expo’s.
Fran has held consulting contracts with influential clients such as the State Department, XPRIZE, WeWork, Future of Fish, Global Entrepreneurship Network, Partners of the Americas, Sunshine Sachs, The Kennedy Forum, the Pan American Health Organization, and Ashoka’s Changemakers.
Frances is an alumna of the University of Virginia, where she majored in Political Philosophy, Policy & Law, played lacrosse, and studied abroad in Ghana, Belize, Italy and Spain. Today, Frances lives on an alpaca farm with her children and Peruvian husband, Giuseppe Lanzone, a two-time Olympic rower for Team USA and CEO of Peruvian Brothers.
