Ethan Hawker
Development Coordinator

Ethan Hawker is the Development Coordinator for Future Caucus, the largest nonpartisan organization of young lawmakers in the United States. Future Caucus works with over 1,800 Gen Z and millennial elected leaders in Congress and state legislatures to bridge divides, collaborate on future-oriented policy, and scale a healthy culture of democracy.
Previously, he was the Institutional Giving Coordinator for the Center for American Progress, offering research, database management, and writing support to the institutional giving team. He has also interned for Senator Tammy Duckworth and DC Legislative and Regulatory Services, and worked as a Federal Election Judge for the Cook County Board of Elections.
Originally from Illinois, Ethan is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Art in Government and Politics and a minor in Business from the Smith School. In his free time, Hawker’s hobbies include spending time in nature, following Chicago sports, and exploring Washington, D.C.
