Interim CFO – Strategic Finance Executive – Turnaround Advisor

Ellen is a seasoned executive in the private equity and startup sectors having served as Chief Financial Officer, Operating Partner and Advisor to multiple companies over the last decade.

Ellen’s previous professional experiences have spanned across both the public and private sectors. Currently, she works as an independent consultant for private equity firms to support turnaround and acceleration initiatives within their portfolio companies. Previously, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Roti Modern Mediterranean, a fast casual restaurant group. She has also worked as a Director in AlixPartners’ Restaurant, Hospitality and Leisure practice, was a political appointee in the Obama Administration at the US Small Business Administration, and she started her career in the Municipal Securities Division at Citigroup.

Ellen was selected as both a Marshall Memorial Fellow and an American Council on Germany Fellow, and she is active with several Korean-American leadership organizations. Ellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from MIT and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
