Carrie Previtera

Partner, New Profit

Carrie Previtera is a Partner at New Profit, a philanthropic organization committed to expanding opportunity in America. In this role, she works with organizations led by visionary social entrepreneurs, advising CEOs, c-suite leaders, and their boards to increase their impact, growth, and sustainability.

Carrie is a certified leadership coach and she brings a people-centered approach to developing and unsticking leaders and teams, from the inside and outside. She previously sat on New Profit’s leadership team and was responsible for leading internal strategic planning and change management. Prior to that, she launched and managed several of the organization’s education and economic mobility initiatives, including the Early Learning Fund and the Pathways Fund, a Social Innovation Fund public-private partnership.

The through line of all of Carrie’s work is building human connection and belonging. She came to New Profit via nonprofit consulting with refugee-led organizations, following a series of roles earlier in her career focused on legal protections and services for immigrants and refugees.

Carrie holds a B.A. from Boston College and a Master’s degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She lives outside Boston with her partner and son.
