Alex Lee

Democracy Writer Intern

Alex Lee is the Democracy Writer Intern for Future Caucus, the largest nonpartisan organization of young lawmakers in the United States. Future Caucus works with over 1,800 Gen Z and millennial elected leaders in Congress and state legislatures to bridge divides, collaborate on future-oriented policy, and scale a healthy culture of democracy. In her role, she manages legislator attendance and transportation, briefs Future Summit speakers, assists in planning and organization of the event, and performs outreach to young legislators.

Alex is a rising senior at Washington University in St. Louis, where he majors in Political Science with a minor in Writing. He is co-president of the Debate Club, co-president of the bipartisan-dialogue club WashU Red & Blues, a staff writer on The Washington University Political Review, and a member of both College Democrats and College Republicans. Outside of politics, Alex loves to write, work out, and watch movies.
