Representative Wesley Harris

Rep. Wesley Harris represents District 105 in the North Carolina House of Representatives, consisting of southwestern Mecklenburg County near Charlotte. He was first elected to this position in 2018. Before his service as state representative, Rep. Harris worked as a teacher and private economic consultant. In the legislature, he has focused his attention on economic development and financial issues. Additionally, Rep. Harris serves on the Agriculture, Finance, Judiciary, Marine Resources, and Transportation committees in the House of Representatives.
Rep. Harris holds a B.A. in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill, alongside an M.A. and PhD in Economics from Clemson University.
