Representative Sarah LaTourette
Ohio Future Caucus, Co-Chair (R)
State Representative Sarah LaTourette is currently serving her first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 76th Ohio House District, which includes most of Geauga and northern Portage counties.
Representative LaTourette was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. A 2006 graduate of Miami University, she double-majored in Political Science and History. Following college, Sarah worked for the Lake County Republican Party during the 2006 election. She then worked for a political communications firm, coordinating national grassroots advocacy campaigns for a variety of clients, including several Fortune 100 companies. After six years working in politics, Sarah decided to pursue nonprofit work and continue her passion for service. She worked for a regional nonprofit dedicated to supporting those with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners.
Giving back to her community is extremely important to the Representative, and she has shown this through her service with a regional Golden Retriever rescue, where she served in a variety of roles and helped foster over fifty dogs, and through her work with the Adoption Network Cleveland. Additionally, Sarah serves as a permanent mentor for children in foster care, serving as a role model and source of continuity.
Sarah and her husband Scott currently reside with their three dogs and two cats in Bainbridge Township.
