Representative Parker Moore

Representative Parker Moore proudly represents District 4 in the Alabama House of Representatives. He was first elected in 2018 in a special election. In his 3rd term he serves as Vice Chairman of the Fiscal Responsibility committee, and also serves on Transportation, Utilities and Infrastructure committee as well as on Boards, Agencies and Commissions committee. He serves as Chairman of the Infrastructure and Commission sub-committees. He serves as Vice Chair on the Tennessee Valley Caucus and Vice Chair of the Limestone County Legislative Delegation Local Legislation committee. He also has been nominated to serve as a Majority Whip and on the Energy Council, Opoid Settlement Commission, Mental Health Joint Task Force and Legislative Energy Horizon Institute.
Moore is a Decatur native, attending public schools in Morgan County, and later earning his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Alabama.
Moore is active in the community having served on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Association, Selective Service Board and served on the Development Council for the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. He now serves as Chairman of the Business Affairs Team (BAT) and the Executive Commission for the North Alabama Presbytery. He is also an active member of his church serving as an Elder.
Parker Moore is married to Allyson Pouncey Moore, and has two children a daughter, Collins, and son, Duncan.
