Sen. Dave Craven, the youngest currently-serving State Senator in North Carolina, represents district 29 in that chamber. Developing a passion for politics and government at an early age, Sen. Craven also maintains extensive private sector experience. In addition to his legislative duties, Sen. Craven works as Vice President of Business Development at The Fidelity Bank, a position where he works with various community and business members to help meet customers’ everyday needs. Since being appointed to his seat in 2020, Sen. Craven has won re-election in 2020 and in 2022. In the legislature, he has focused on education and economic issues.

Sen. Craven graduated with degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, and Political Science from UNC Charlotte.
