Representative Farley Santos

State Representative Farley A. Santos is proud and privileged to serve Danbury’s 109th District in the Connecticut General Assembly.

He attended Danbury’s public schools and graduated from Henry Abbott Technical High School. He was first elected to the Danbury City Council, representing the 4th Ward in 2019. Representative Santos previously served on the Danbury Board of Education and has over 15 years of private-sector and community-driven experience. He has served on the Board of Directors of several nonprofit organizations, including the Danbury Student and Business Connection and Junior Achievement of Greater Fairfield County. Representative Santos recently served as President of the Danbury Police Activities League. He currently serves as President of the Landon Jack Verissimo Santos Memorial Scholarship, Inc. and is a community advisory board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield Danbury Clubhouse.

Representative Santos is proud to have delivered over $151 million dollars to Danbury in his first legislative session to support Danbury Public Schools and several area non-profit organizations, including funding for the Afghanistan Iraq War Veterans Monument, the first Connecticut monument that honors the sacrifices of these brave veterans.

He currently serves as Economic and Community Development Advisor to Mayor Roberto Alves of Danbury. Prior to his current position, Representative Santos was employed for nearly 16 years as Vice President, Community Development Manager, and Bank Ambassador with Savings Bank of Danbury. He lives in Danbury, and together, he and his wife Kathleen are raising their daughter, Khloë.

Representative Santos has received several professional and community service awards for excellence, including Fairfield County’s Business Journal Top 40 under 40 in 2022 and was inducted into the Henry Abbott Technical High School Hall of Fame in 2023. He received the Immigrant of the Year Award in 2026. 

In his first term, Representative Santos was proud to be appointed Assistant Majority Leader and Vice Chair of the Banking Committee. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Veterans ‘and Military Affairs Committee, the General Law Committee, and the Government Oversight Committee.
