Will Guzzardi

Illinois Future Caucus, Emeritus Co-Chair (D)

Rep. Will Guzzardi has represented the 39th district of Illinois since 2015 which includes parts of the neighborhoods Avondale, Belmont Cragin, Hermosa, Old Irving Park, Portage Park, and Logan Square in Chicago. He turned heads when he won the 2014 primary election for the 39th district of Illinois against a long-time incumbent. Guzzardi is a graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor’s in Comparative Literature. His work experience includes working as an associate editor for Huffington Post Chicago and head writer of admissions at the University of Chicago. 

Guzzardi chairs the Prescription Drug Affordability and Housing Committees and is a member of various other committees in the General Assembly. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Illinois Progressive Caucus.
