Celebrating A New Generation of Leadership in Vermont

In Montpelier, on February 5th, the Vermont Future Caucus welcomed both familiar and new faces for their first gathering of the 2025 legislative session, including seven newly-elected legislators. 

Co-Chairs Representative Mary-Katherine Stone (D-VT) and Representative Casey Toof (R-VT) led an intimate discussion covering everything from community and coalition building to the unique challenges young elected officials face.

With a record number of newly-elected lawmakers in the state, building a strong sense of community is a top priority for members of the Vermont Future Caucus, as they kick off their year serving in the legislature together.
