On Thursday, March 17, the Millennial Action Project (MAP) announced the new leadership of the Georgia Future Caucus in the Georgia state legislature. Co-chairs Rep. Jasmine Clark (D-108) and Rep. Steven Sainz (R-180) will lead the Georgia chapter of a bipartisan network of over 1,600 young policymakers nationwide.

ATLANTA, GA – The Millennial Action Project (MAP) announced the new leadership of their bipartisan coalition in the state legislature, the Georgia Future Caucus. Co-chairs Rep. Jasmine Clark (D-108) and Rep. Steven Sainz (R-180) will lead the Georgia chapter of a nationwide network of young lawmakers.
Representative Jasmine Clark grew up in Georgia and has represented the 108th district since 2019. She serves on the Higher Education, Interstate Cooperation, and Budget and Fiscal Affairs Oversight committees. Prior to being elected, she earned her PhD in microbiology from Emory University, to which she is now a lecturer of microbiology at the university’s school of nursing.
“I look forward to working across the aisle with my colleague to promote issues important to millennials. In a contentious legislative session such as this one, it’s more important than ever to find common ground and work together.” said Representative Dr. Jasmine Clark (GA-108), co-chair of the Georgia Future Caucus.
Rep. Steven Sainz has represented Georgia’s 180th district since 2019, and serves as a member of the Defense and Veterans Affairs, Economic Development and Tourism, and Judiciary Non-civil committees. Along with being a state representative, Steven is the CEO of Camden Connection, a community development corporation.
