Charlie Spurrell
Policy Intern

Charlie Spurrell is the Policy intern at Future Caucus, the largest nonpartisan organization of young lawmakers in the United States. Future Caucus works with over 1,900 Gen Z and millennial elected leaders in Congress and state legislatures to bridge divides, collaborate on future-oriented policy, and scale a healthy culture of democracy.
He has previously worked as a Providence Mayoral Fellow where he was responsible for managing constituent services, writing memos, and database management. He has also interned at the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence where he facilitated candidate outreach for the 2024 election cycle, crafted graphics, and led youth workshops on gun violence prevention.
Originally from Rhode Island, Charlie is going into his senior year at Amherst College and is pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Psychology. In his free time, Charlie’s hobbies include playing the New York Times games, following Boston sports, and spending time outdoors.
