Elli Mohajeri

Energy & Environment Graduate Fellow

Elli Mohajeri is an Energy & Environment Policy Graduate Fellow at Future Caucus, the largest nonpartisan organization of young lawmakers in the United States. Future Caucus works with over 1,800 Gen Z and millennial elected leaders in Congress and state legislatures to bridge divides, collaborate on future-oriented policy, and scale a healthy culture of democracy. 

In her role, Elli manages and enhances the Energy & Environment pillar of the Innovation Lab, working closely with lawmaker fellows, experts, and stakeholders to facilitate discussions and drive collaborative initiatives within the program. 

Elli was previously a Gender & Rule of Law Intern at the United Nations, where she worked with the Office of Rule of Law & Security Institutions (Department of Peace Operations). She contributed to gender equality initiatives through research, communications, and knowledge management, helping to strengthen collaboration between UN headquarters and field operations.

She also has experience as a Junior Consultant at Ramboll, where she worked on a research project analyzing supply chains for data centers, focusing on the availability of metals, minerals, and power resources in the context of AI-driven demand.

Elli is pursuing a Master of Global Affairs from New York University, concentrating on Environment & Energy Policy. Her research explores climate mitigation strategies in the defense sector, examining how security institutions can transition toward sustainable energy solutions while maintaining operational effectiveness.

She also holds a Bachelor of Politics with Media and Communications (First Class Honors) from Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
