Representative Dr. Jennifer Mandelbaum (D-NH)

Dr. Jennifer Mandelbaum is a public health expert and dedicated public servant representing Portsmouth and Newington in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Elected in a 2024 special election, she champions policies that strengthen community health, climate resilience, and economic well-being. Since January 2025, she has served as the Clerk of the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs Committee.

Dr. Mandelbaum brings experience from industry, academia, and government. She is the Mixed Methods Research Manager at athenahealth, where she leads research to inform national healthcare policy. She also teaches part-time in Tufts University’s Department of Community Health.

A Londonderry native, she holds degrees from Brandeis University (BA), Yale (MPH), and the University of South Carolina (PhD). Across every role, Dr. Mandelbaum is driven by one mission: turning research into real-world impact for healthier, stronger communities.
