Arkansas
The Arkansas Future Caucus gathered for an evening to discuss their work in the state legislature, their goals for 2023, and insights into what it’s like to be a young person in politics! Young leaders from different sectors across the state gathered to discuss how Gen Z and Millennial legislators are fighting for a stronger Arkansas.
Georgia
The Georgia Future Caucus began the 2023 legislative session with a roundtable luncheon for Gen Z and Millennial legislators. They discussed their priorities for the upcoming sessions and introduced themselves, as many are new to the legislature.
Kansas
In a panel discussion titled “A More Collaborative Kansas: How Young Legislators Are Shaking Up Topeka,” young Kansas legislators discussed their work in the state legislature and goals for the 2023 legislative session.
Vermont
The Vermont Future Caucus hosted a lunch for newly elected and returning young lawmakers to discuss legislation on talent retention, mental health access, and legislature modernization. Later that evening, the local community gathered for a happy hour and panel discussion with legislators on “A New Generation of Leadership in Vermont: The Future of Collaboration at the Capital.” Young elected officials shared their vision for the 2023 session and how they plan to tackle political polarization in order to create results for the youngest Vermonters across the state.
Oklahoma
In a panel discussion titled “Passing the Torch: How Young Legislators Shape Our Future,” the young lawmakers of the Oklahoma Future Caucus shared their vision for the upcoming legislative session and how they plan on navigating issues like criminal justice reform, Native issues, and school safety in a bipartisan fashion.
