Millennial Legislators Form Bipartisan Future Caucus

State Reps. Michael Caldwell (R-Woodstock) and Dar’Shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) will co-chair the group of lawmakers under the age of 40.

ATLANTA, GA — A Democrat and a Republican will come together to form the Georgia Future Caucus.

State Reps. Michael Caldwell (R-Woodstock) and Dar’Shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia) have announced the creation of this bipartisan group of lawmakers under the age of 40.

The formal roll out of the Caucus will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 22 in room 610 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building.

The Future Caucus will be co-chaired by Caldwell and Kendrick and will focus on passing bipartisan legislation on issues affecting young people in Georgia, from the economy to redistricting, to investing in clean energy.
