WASHINGTON — On August 7th, one week from tomorrow, young bipartisan leaders, legislators and policymakers from across the country will convene virtually for the Millennial Action Project’s (MAP) fourth annual Future Summit; featuring keynote speaker Martin Luther King III. Confirmed press will be given a Zoom link that can be used to call in during Mr. King’s availability, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET on August 7th. Press are also encouraged to RSVP for the entire conference here.

“We are very excited that Martin Luther King III will be joining us for our fourth annual Future Summit next week,” said MAP Founder and President Steven Olikara. “The goal of our organization since its founding has been to bring people together for the sake of common progress; a goal shared by Mr. King and a goal toward which he has worked his entire life. We are honored to host him at this year’s Summit to discuss political bridge-building through the King philosophy.”

The 2020 Future Summit is an opportunity for the next generation of American leaders to confer and collaborate with one another on how best to tackle the most pressing problems posed by an ever-changing world. Past summits have been incubators for bipartisan cooperation on issues that transcend partisan obstinance and political polarization.

The 2020 Future Summit will begin at 12:00 p.m. ET on Friday, August 7th, and feature remarks from Founder and President Steven Olikara, Future Caucus legislators and a panel of accomplished leaders to share their wisdom with the leaders of tomorrow.

The Millennial Action Project (MAP) is a national, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to activating young policymakers to bridge the partisan divide and lead a new era of collaborative governance. In 2013, MAP organized America’s first-ever bipartisan caucus for young members of Congress, the Congressional Future Caucus. Shaping the next generation of leadership, MAP’s Future Caucus Network has expanded into nearly 30 state legislatures and grown into the largest nonpartisan organization of millennial elected officials in the U.S.
