Representative Thomas Kutz
Pennsylvania Future Caucus, Co-Chair (R)
Rep. Thomas Kutz is a lifelong Cumberland County resident elected to serve the 87th State House District in 2022. During the 2023-24 Legislative Session, he will serve on the House Appropriations, Housing and Community Development and Insurance Committees. Thomas holds degrees from Grove City College and Widener University Commonwealth Law School.
Thomas has long been involved in his community through various nonprofit organizations and church leadership roles. A licensed attorney, Thomas has served in various legislative decision-making positions, including as a staff member for the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee and a policy director in the Senate of Pennsylvania. The representative is proud to have served on the Lower Allen Township Board of Commissioners and continues to serve on the Pennsylvania Election Law Advisory Board.
Thomas aims to develop and support pro-growth policies that will make the Commonwealth competitive for businesses and a welcoming environment for families to grow and prosper. He also is focused on commonsense regulatory reform, modernizing our aged infrastructure, and ensuring children are safe in their schools and communities.
Thomas and his wife Allie live in Mechanicsburg with their dog Camden. They enjoy taking part in community activities, especially attending local high school sports games and supporting local restaurants and businesses.
