Senator Andrew Jones

Alabama FUTURE CAUCUS, CO-CHAIR (R)

Senator Andrew Jones joined the Alabama legislature in 2018 as State Senator for District 10. He serves as Chair of the Veterans, Military Affairs, and Public Safety Committee and as Vice Chair of the Tourism & Marketing Committee. Some of his other focus areas include Finance & Taxation, Agriculture and Conservation. 

In addition to his role in the legislature, he founded and has run the Deep South Coffee Factory since 2017 and is a shareholder for Paul Jennings Farms, Inc. 

Notable accomplishments include:

Awarded with the “Defender of Freedom” award in 2024 for his work to drastically cut Alabama’s grocery tax. 

Selected for CSG 20 Under 40 Leadership Award, where leaders “must exemplify a commitment to bipartisanship and innovative solutions.” 

Received the 2024 Henry Toll Fellowship Award, where fellows are selected “based on their demonstrated commitment to solve problems, to work collaboratively to get things done, and their belief that state government can and must be a force for good.”
